So what book are you currently reading? And is it any good so far? I'll start;
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
I just started it but so far it has a cool premise and the thematic tone is directly in my wheelhouse. My only concern so far is what kind of magic system (hard or soft) they are using. It is still a little ambiguous and hopefully it gets defined soon.
Now what about you all?
Advanced Witchcraft by Edain McCoy
also rereading Spiral Dance by Starhawk
It isn't witchy, but it's journalism gold: The Face of War by Martha Gellhorn.
She was an inspiration for me. She refused to be defined by her marriage to Hemmingway, instead choosing to be one of the greatest war correspondents of the 20th century. This book is a collection of her best works from war zones all over the globe. It's excellent for adding some perspective to my day!
