Hey everybody! So, I'm a baby witch, and I don't really trust myself with real candles (not that I would do anything bad, just that I'm really clumsy!), and I was wondering if electric candles work as a good substitute? Or do you have any other recommendations for a replacement?
Thanks!
While electric candles can provide a certain aesthetic, some practitioners believe there's a unique energy in the flame of a real candle that can't be replicated. It's not just about the light; it's about the element of fire and its connection to intention.
If you're comfortable and can ensure safety, consider starting with small, enclosed flame sources like tea lights in holders or jars. Always prioritize safety and go with what feels right for you on your magical journey! ✨🕯️🔮
Hi Vivienne,
So, it actually has nothing to do with being a baby witch, if you're clumsy, you're clumsy! Just like me, so I totally get it. This is a little awkward, as you can't really replace a candle with an electric one, as it's totally unnatural. If you're worried that you're going to knock over a thin candle, then why not use a tea light or a candle in a glass or tin, that can't easily be knocked over. If you're worried about setting light to things, always have a bowl of water nearby, so you can put any potential fire out. And good candle etiquette is not to leave it burning in an empty room. Hope this helps. Anyone else got any thoughts / comments to help?
