Hi there! I'm the Luna Wytch.

I’m going to be rocking up here, once a week, posting a blog for Witches Magazine. Ellen and I went to university together, and we’ve decided to create another little community, combining me, The Luna Wytch, and Witches Mag.

A little bit about me:

I’m 19, I live in Plymouth, UK, and I have just dropped out after my first year at university, studying Journalism.

I decided to drop out to follow my passion - witchcraft. I’ve enrolled in online courses in witchcraft and magic, and I have just started my own business making witchy quarterly subscription boxes. I feel like I’ve found my path.

I’m a green witch, and I feel a strong connection to the moon. I practice tarot cards and crystal healing, but I’m still learning. Witchcraft has been in my family for at least 3 generations.

My grandma had a gift but chose to suppress it; her generation wasn't as accepting as ours is today. My mum has always been different. I guess you could say that she has a gift too; she knows things are going to happen before they do. Her gift isn’t something she can call upon; it finds her when it needs to.

So that brings me to myself. I too have a gift, however mine is sort of a ‘knowing’. It’s still developing as I experience more of life. I can feel it in my bones; I reckon I was part of something bigger, many years ago. Somehow, I know that in a past life, I was a witch. I probably danced naked in a forest, under a full moon, alongside my mum and grandma! We were inseparable growing up. Sadly, my grandma is no longer with us, but when she passed, I think I gained a part of her gift.

I decided to welcome it, instead of suppressing it. So, here we are.

The reason I feel so drawn to witchcraft, is because it makes you more susceptible to the world around you.
